Associação das Linhas de Navegação (ALN) is formed by the five major Shipping Lines calling with a regular Liner Service the ports to Mozambique (CMA/CGM, I.Messina, Maersk/Safmarine, MSC, PIL) and is the heir of the “Mozambique Shipping Lines Forum” (MoSLF) which was fruitfully operated from October 2010 to promote with the Mozambique Maritime Authorities, Terminal and Port Operators, Transport Authorities, Custom and various Governmental Departments, an efficient operation of Mozambique ports.

The objective of ALN is to continue the work started by MoSLF and to place the same attention and dedication in addressing the various issues and challenges of the ports and maritime sector.

According to a release signed by the Chairman of ALN, Captain Roberto del Vecchio, “shipping lines have recently made huge investments to promote trade with Mozambique.” “We expect these investments will produce the necessary results and we are confident that we will find the best collaboration from all involved parts in the interest of the country, its economy and most importantly, its people”, concludes the release.
